Do not adjust your sets: By Isabel Cutter
Just another day in the desert...
Its 1941 Koko is walking across the desert in her heels and bumps into Teddy. He has been stung by a scorpion. His gear just a'int up to standard. Koko has a love of cryptography the art of blending into the enemy 's camp in conversation and writings. Teddy needs her help to become the background crypsis. His uniform needs to blend into the background including his equipment. She needs his tank to drive through the desert like a whirlwind. The storm trooper is about to descend upon the battalion... The original Universal Solider.
Koko: Teddy your uniform doesn't hide you well in jungle. Those canvases just make a great visual for me at Target Practice.
Teddy: That explains why you keep finding me under the shrubbery in this desert.
Koko: I will consult the fashion team in the Technology Department at United Nations HQ and the women working for the ancillary teams from various militarises.
Teddy: Will this uniform hide me in the desert like chameleon?
Koko: Why on earth would you need that your canvas is protection enough?
Teddy: Koko darling, I keep getting stung by scorpions in the desert because they see me coming.
Koko: That explains your flirty behaviour with the nurse.
Teddy: I do it to make you jealous plus as a Medic it’s handy to keep her good side.
Koko: I will work a on cryptography for the fabric and call it crypsis. You will creep into enemy camp undetected. I also need to get blankets for the paratroopers.
Teddy: Honey! Me first!
Koko: Those men and women sleep outside in the cold and have to behave a wolf pack.
Teddy: I guess you will be in lab and library for weeks now. (Sad face)
Koko: Darling as a long distance runner, when you stop moving your body looses heat quickly and thus foil blankets are necessary to prevent shock and hallucinations.
Teddy: I have had experience of seeing this in the field. What are you going to make?
Koko: We are going to have to design a fibre that acts like a foil to keep the troops warm. I need to experiment with various materials like HDPE High-density polyethylene.
Teddy: What are you going to call this new camouflage?
Koko: Dragon-Scorpion camouflage to cover the team in all tundra climates. Every colour under the sun to make you disappear poof!
Teddy: That’s my girl.
Koko: I love my UCP patterns they everything Universal.
