At war the defense must repeatedly fake weakness so the opposition is left in confusion. In marketing the objective is sell a quality product not quantity. Therefore repeatedly use student grades in an education company and feedback from student, agents and sponsors to alienate the opposite.
But because it is a two play the company i.e. fighting party/company must find data sources from the opposition to further their growth or infiltration. The common ground must be shared with used with caution as the second player also has access the data and can find different source to counteract the first player.
Repeated gaming is best method when you know the other party can grow with your assistance and is greater in the end. Buy your opposition and let them use their own name so you are gleaning at the higher and lower price or making an ally for future defense. Your allies are everywhere. The government, NGOs, customers are your sources. Most are temporary. As the lord says everything has a season ' ecclesiastics'.
